Group Sales Executive
Hours: Full Time, Permanent Monday to Friday (9-6) with occasional weekend work
Location: Daytona Sandown Park, More Lane, Esher, Surrey, KT10 8AN.
Salary: £25,000 basic (OTE £25,000-£35,000)

Daytona Sports is seeking a Group Sales Executive to join their team at their Head Office in Sandown Park, Esher. As a Group Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in selling their range of products to a diverse customer base. Your goal will be to exceed budgeted targets while upholding their company standards and ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key success criteria for this role include:
- Customer Engagement: Respond effectively to inbound sales inquiries via telephone and email. Identify customer needs and seize opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell Daytona products.
- Sales Conversion: Convert inquiries into profitable sales, striving to surpass budgeted targets across their product range.
- Data Management: Accurately capture and input customer data into the company database, enabling future contact and marketing opportunities.
- Opportunity Identification: Periodically research and identify new sales opportunities to present to the Sales Director, contributing to the creation of new revenue sources.
- Product Success: Monitor and assess product success, proposing modifications as needed to maintain profitability.
- Professionalism: Execute duties professionally and consistently, following all company procedures, and maintaining the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and adaptability to work weekend days when required.
Candidate profile:
- Personality: You are a self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook, driven by quality and profit. Your motivation, discipline, and articulateness set you apart. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a customer-centric approach.
- IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.
- Business and Selling Skills: You are an excellent telephone communicator comfortable dealing with executives and private individuals. Previous experience in event or hospitality sales is advantageous, and a passion for motorsport is a plus.
- Numeracy and Literacy: You possess a good standard of numeracy and literacy, including basic business calculations (e.g., gross margin percentages and VAT) and strong writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar.
